Directed by Srikanth Addala, Kotha Bangaru Lokam stars Varun Sandesh, Shweta Basu Prasad and Prakash Raj in the lead roles. Balu (Varun Sandesh) is from a middle class family and lives life on his terms. When Balu meets Swapna (Shweta Basu Prasad,) a girl who belongs to an extremely wealthy family, his life starts changing.
With his charm and wit, Balu doesn’t take long in making Swapna fall for him. Unfortunately, life isn’t always that easy. Shortly after Swapna and Balu start dating, Swapna’s parents find out about this secret romance. All hell breaks loose and Swapna’s very angry parents lock her up in the house.
