Directed by DSP, Dasanna stars Srihari, Meena and Bhupathi Raja in the lead roles. The film tells the story of a zamindar, Raghuvaran (Bhupathi Raja,) and his trusted right hand man, Das (Srihari.) As a child, Das was always close to Raghuvaran and as he grows older, he becomes one of the most trusted people in his boss’s life.
Das believes Raghuvaran is God reincarnated and idolizes him to no end. Things are smooth sailing and easy breezy till Das falls in love with Malleshwari, a girl from the neighbouring village.
